A Call To Excellence
It's a Great Year to be a Blue Devil !!!
I have been asked many questions since I came to North Jefferson
Middle School. How has the transition been? How do I like being back
in the middle school? How do the teachers compare to other schools?
What have I learned about the North Jefferson community? I would like
to answer all of those questions with a single response -- "It's A Great
Year To Be A Blue Devil!"
The students, staff, and community of North Jefferson should be
commended for setting the example for the rest of the Central Alabama
area schools. Part of the mission of NJMS is to be a model school for
excellence in teaching and learning. I am proud to say that mission is
being carried out daily. Whether it be through academics, athletics, or
community involvement, the NJMS Family is determined to be the very
best that we can possibly be.
Being committed to excellence requires that all stakeholders hold
each other to a high standard. All stakeholders is a fancy term that
means we cannot achieve the success we all want for our students and our community without everyone being fully invested in all aspects of our schools. We need your help and you need ours. Together,
we can change the direction of more than just our small community. The
teachers and staff at NJMS truly believe we are raising up the next
generation of leaders in our state and in our nation.
I am asking that you join us in our daily Call to Excellence.
"I am an important part of the success of North Jefferson Middle School.
Today, I get to choose to learn what I want to learn.
I get to choose to act how I want to act.
I get to choose to be who I want to be.
It's a Great Day to be a Blue Devil and today, I choose to be excellent!"
My door is always open. If you have suggestions, concerns, or
validations for our staff and students, I would love to hear them. I
welcome you to come by for a visit, send an email, or call any time you
